He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ames Shreffler; his stepchildren, Jacquline Alford (Ricky) of Stem, NC, Steven Shreffler (Jennifer) of Hendersonville, NC, Pamela Farrell (Chris) of Rockvale, TN and Garrett Shreffler (Kelly) of Alexander, NC; his brother Marion Cyrus of Huntington, WV; and his brothers-in-law, Larry, Ron, Dave and Dan Ames. He is also survived by many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
