He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl H. Karns and Elizabeth Burneisen Karns; and his sister Grace Elizabeth Malys. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Brumbaugh; his children, David Allen Karns (Deborah) of Franklin, Kevin Lee Karns of Oil City and Traci Lynn Berry (Moe) of Oil City; his grandchildren, Dustin Karns (Dani King), Sheena Griffin (Michael), Tayler, Tanner, Tifany Berry and Landin Karns; and his siblings, LaVonne Hutchinson of Oil City and Fred Karns of Cooperstown. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
