With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl J. Sargent Jr. of Oil City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl J. Sargent Sr. and Mary Coburn Sargent; his wife Joyce L. Murphy; his daughter Lori Rupp; and his siblings, Matthew, Fred, Erma Murphy, Candy Delp, Esther Motter, Florence Phenicie and Geraldine Sargent.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert L. Sargent of Oil City and Carl E. Sargent (Joanna) of Seneca; and his grandchildren, Bryan Sargent, Shawna Sargent, Adam Rupp (Elizabeth), Heather Rupp and Anthony Sargent (Rachel).
