She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Sproul and Martha Rice Sproul; her husband Robert Marietta; and her sisters, Jeannette Brennan and Betty Bryner.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Marietta (Mandi Lee Ray) and Linda (Mark McCarty) of Ohiopyle. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Shirley's name to the Ohiopyle-Stewart Community Center.
