She was predeceased by: her parents, Valeria Gaines and Thomas Gaines; and her husband Donald J. Young. She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda "Mindy" Stephany (Edward) of Gibsonia and Donna Crawford (Young) of Oakmont; her grandchildren, Michael Trabbold of Carnegie, Matthew Trabbold of Penn Township and Lindsay Bujalski (Joseph) of Springdale; her great grandchildren, Masyn and Marley Bujalski; and her brother Kenneth E. Gaines of Verona.
