He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gilbert and Gladys Marie Succop (Deering). He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Walton Succop; his children, Kimberly Walton Succop (Greg Maier), James William Succop and Stacey Miller Beale (Edwin Beale); his grandchildren, Cameron William Beale and Callie Miller Beale; and his close friend Joshua Scott Robinson. He is also survived by 6 siblings, 37 nieces and nephews, and many in-laws.

A reception was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gathering and Prayer Service Burket-Truby Funeral Home (421 Allegheny Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139). A prayer was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Cremation and Alternative Services, Inc. (421 Allegheny Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139).
