It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Kathleen (Sowden) Sykes of Oakmont, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 3, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James D. Sykes; her parents, Charles K. Sowden and Mary Louise Sowden (Haywood); her sister Beth Tuck (Sowden); her sons, Jamie (Judene Sykes) and Chase (Monica Sykes); her grandchildren, J. D. of Oakmont, Alexis of Oakmont, Siddaly of Oakmont, Chloe of Oakmont and Matthew Sykes of Oakmont; her siblings, C. Kenneth Sowden (Jaci) of Waikoloa and Amy Burkert (Ron) of Oakmont; and her brother-in-law Gary Tuck of Bowling Green, KY.. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cremation and Alternative Services, Inc. (421 Allegheny Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
