He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sykes and Elizabeth Sykes (Weaver); and his sister-in-law Beth Tuck. He is survived by: his wife Jane Kathleen Sykes (Sowden); his children, Jamie Sykes (Judene) and Chase Sykes (Monica); his grandchildren, J. D. of Oakmont, Alexis of Oakmont, Siddaly of Oakmont, Chloe of Oakmont and Matthew Sykes of Oakmont; and his siblings-in-law, C. Kenneth Sowden (Jaci) of Waikoloa, Hawaii, Gary Tuck of Bowling Green and Amy Burkert (Ron) of Oakmont. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
