David Albert Progar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Albert Progar (Oakmont, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Progar and Joseph Progar; and his sister Genevieve Patla. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Progar (Ruscetti); his children, Jodi Rupert, Tracey Perry (Dominic), Dana Hunter (David) and David Progar (Meredith); and his grandchildren, Josh Rupert (Keira), Luke Rupert, Sam Perry, Joseph Perry, Eleanor Perry, Gia Hunter, Tyson Hunter, Nora Progar, Ava Progar and David Jonathan Progar. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cremation and Alternative Services, Inc. (421 Allegheny Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edward Church - Christ The (448 Walnut St, Pittsburgh, PA 15238).
