She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Omecene and Edward Omecene of Verona; and her brother Dennis Omecene (Cindy). She is survived by: her husband Frank A. Bonaroti of Valentine's Day; her children, Tara Mangieri (Domenic), Dean Bonaroti (Jessica) and David Bonaroti (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Rocco, Nico and Frankie; and her siblings, Butch Omecene (Mimi), Debby Lane and Rob Omecene (Sheila). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cremation and Alternative Services, Inc. (421 Allegheny Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Parish - St. Irenaeus (387 Maryland Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139).
She was a pillar of the lupus charity community, raising tens of thousands of dollars for research to help others afflicted by this disease.
