He was predeceased by: his wife Janet. He is survived by: his son Oakmont; his friends, Buck Bucci and Bob Wagner; his caregivers, Renee Wagner and Laura Amos; his son Michael (Jody); his granddaughters, Samantha and Melissa (Jon); and his son Christopher (Gail).
Over his nearly 70-year membership, Banks served as President of the Club, President and Founding member of the Fownes Foundation, and Chairman of the Grounds Committee.
