He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Underwood, and Mabel Underwood, Sr. (Rogers); his wife Betty Lou Underwood (Northey); his grandson Brian Underwood; his great grandchildren, Ravi Dallas, Nixon Smith and Anniston Smith; and his son-in-law Tony Lekay.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Smith (Walt), Tim Underwood (Lisa), William Underwood, III (Sue) and Terri Lekay (Tony). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
