He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Eleanor Slack Murgel. He is survived by: his brothers, John Murgel (Donna) of Washington, PA and Jeff Murgel of Bridgeville; his nieces, Anne Apetre and Lauren Ireg; his nephew R. J. Murgel; and his significant other Kathy Porter.
