He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lewis and Catherine Lewis (Harms); his wife Patricia Lewis (Kelly); and his siblings, Clifford, James Lewis and Donna Fullman.

He is survived by: his children, Catherine Orel, Carol Deklewa (David), Robert Lewis (Michelle) and Daniel Lewis (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kelly (Brian), Stacey (Matthew), Alicia (Michael), Angela (Robert), David, Christopher (Raeanne), Timothy (Marlo), Rob, Erin (Robert), Kaylee and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Brandon (Valeri), Megan, Luke, Elizabeth, Olivia, Lily, Tyler, Cole, Malone, Alma, Larken, Leland and Scarlett; and his great great grandchildren, Blair and Melanie.
