He was predeceased by: his wife Marguerite Pilcher (Meyers); and his stepson Brian Richardson. He is survived by: his son Steven Pilcher (Georgiana); his stepson Stanley Richardson (Linda); his grandchildren, Steven Richardson (Christina), Ian Pilcher and Casey Burkholder (Shala); and his close friend Doreen Smettle.

“I am so sorry to hear about Rich's passing. I knew him from dialysis where I am the Dietitian. He was always interested in eating well and I would buy him Premier Protein when it was on sale. He loved bingo and I would buy freeze pops just for him to win. He was always smiling and pleasant to all and I have missed him not being here since he went to the rehab facility.
