He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert J. Geffel and Patricia A. Geffel Manno (John); his son Roman Alexander Geffel; his grandparents, Madeline, Michael Geffel, Dorothy and Carl Grantz; his sibling Robie Shoff (Charles); his nieces and nephews, Sydney and Vincent; his godchild Siarra; his stepsiblings, John J. Manno II (Diana), Sandra Pawlowski (Jon) and Christy Maruca (Michael); his children, Johnny, Maria, Jake, Luke, Erika, Joshua and Gianna; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isla, Tennyson and Theora.
