He was predeceased by: his mother Alice L. Lapia (Thomas); and his sister Lisa Marie Powell. He is survived by: his father Joseph A. Lapia Sr. of Collier Twp; his close friend Luke; his sister Colleen A. Phillips Ball; and his nieces and nephews, Jacob L. Phillips IV, James Maggi, Sheena Sollinger and Alexandra Ball. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
