He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Palmieri and Edith Palmieri; his son Vincent Palmieri; and his brother Salvatore Palmieri. He is survived by: his wife Judy DiDesiderio-Palmieri; his children, Judy May Sheppard (Justin), Jeno Palmieri, Jaime Palmieri, James R. Palmieri Jr. and Deana Palmieri; his brother Ralph; and his cousin Bobby Menna (Pat).
