With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn R. McConnell of Oakdale, Pennsylvania, born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl A. Zollars and Mabel Murphy Zollars; and her siblings, Jerry Zollars (Carmela), Jack Zollars (Doris), Ron Zollars (Ruth), Sandy Vogelsburger (Bob), Bob Zollars (Joyce), Karen Zollars and Marylin Scheers (Paul).

She is survived by: her husband Gerald F. McConnell; and her siblings, Bonnie Inskipt (Tom), Judy Tennyson (Dave), Nancy Scott (Larry), Patty Wauthier, Donna Dunn, Kathy Bushmire (Gary), Carol Everingham (Warren) and Terry Zollars (Deb).
