We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2020, at the age of 68, Daniel Hanczar of Oakdale, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Constantine Hanczar and Alma Hanczar (Windsheimer). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kate" Hanczar (Hartman) of Oakdale; his siblings, Katia Hanczar (Tom Meyers Jr.) of Oakdale, Danielle Jancel (Mike) of Robinson Twp, Rory Hanczar (Lynette) of McDonald and Nils Hanczar (Stephanie Brea) of Pittsburgh; and his grandchildren, Greg Hanczar (Patty), Dave Hanczar (Kris), Connie Yoder (Henry) and Bill Hanczar (Deb).

The family would like to thank the healthcare team at St. Clair Hospital that cared for Dan while he fought for 32 days, played his music, prayed with him, and held his hand in his last moments on earth while his family was unable, due to COVID-19 restrictions.
