He was predeceased by: his parents, David Allan and Thelma Ruth Axon Gyergyo; his son Christopher Gyergyo; and his siblings, Dorothy Jean Averberg (late Fred) and Donald H. Eakin.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Gyergyo (Marinke); his daughter Susan Auman (Rob); his daughter-in-law Melissa "Missy" Gyergyo; his grandsons, Jake, Luke Gyergyo and Max Auman; his brother Dennis Gyergyo (Susan); and his sister-in-law Arlene Eakin.
