We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2018, at the age of 85, Helena Schmidt (Nuremberg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Pearl Heckrote (Travelpiece); her husband Russell E. Schmidt; her siblings, Betty Eveland, Carrie Pettit and William Heckrote; and her great grandchild Abigail Johnston.
She is survived by: her parent William Heckrote; her children, Debby, Russell Schmidt (Suzann) of Mt, Grove, Jill, Marybeth Schmidt of Nuremberg, Kay and James Schmidt; and her brother Jim Heckrote of Sugarloaf. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
