He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hopfer and Mary Demmon Hopfer; and his brothers, David and Gary Hopfer. He is survived by: his wife Georgeann Hayner Hopfer; his daughters, Michele Ronca (John) of Hunlock Creek and Melissa Calvert of Florida; his granddaughters, Emle and Sayde; his great grandchildren, Victoria and Marceline; his siblings, Ronald Hopfer of Noxen and Clara Lyons of Noxen; his brother-in-law Jack Hayner of Beaumont; and his pet Barley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
