He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lyons and Emily Mary Casterline Lyons; and his sisters, Wilma Jean Weismiller and Dorothea Mathers. He is survived by: his wife Clara Hopfer; his children, Elmer Lyons, Jr. (Denise) and Andrea Beahm; his siblings, John Lyons (Audrey) and Margaret Coulbourne; his granddaughter Olivia Venessa Lyons; his friend Mitch Sickler; and his stepgrandsons, Andrew Coutts and Travis Biondo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
