She was predeceased by: her parent Holden Newell. She is survived by: her parent Lina Kitchen Newell; and her children, James Murphy (Connie) of Noxen, Russell Murphy (Melinda) of Noxen, Brian Murphy (Tina) of Sweet Valley and Tammy Crispell (Jeffrey) of Noxen. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 100 William St., Dunmore, PA 18510.
