With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Ortega of Nottingham, Pennsylvania, born in West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 1, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her spouse Tiburcio "Benny" Ortega Cabrera, Sr.; her parents, Charles Howell and Stella Brooks Howell; and her daughter Mary Sue Butler. She is survived by : her children, Benny L. Ortega, Jr. of Nottingham, Raymond Ortega (Kate) of Elkton, MD, Donnie Ortega, Sr. of Nottingham and Shirley Jean Ortega of Lincoln University; her grandchildren, Michael, Donnie, Jr. (April), Brandon, Aubrey Lyn, Donald and Chris; her great grandchildren, Nick, Jonathan, Jake, Kathleen, Julian, Jackson, Jamison, Jaden and Xavier; and her siblings, Robert Howell of Oxford and Irma Weaver of West Jefferson, NC..
