We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2021, at the age of 85, Robert W. Mertz in Nottingham, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Elmer Mertz and Mary Park Mertz of Watsontown; his brothers, Ned Mertz, Raymond Mertz and Jay C. Mertz; and his half-sister Evelyn Parks.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane DeLong Mertz; his sons, Steve (Kathy), Scott (Brooke) and Bradd (Karen); and his grandson Alan Mertz of Dauphin. He is also survived by grandchildren and bonus great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
