For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rosie L. "Peggy" Phillips Mabe; his parents, James Mabe and Mary Robinson Mabe; and his daughter Shirley Kilby (Keith Kilby). He is survived by: his sons, Charles "Chuck" Mabe, Jr. (Mary) of Port Deposit, MD, Albert Mabe (Donna) of Oxford, PA, Daniel Mabe (Jody) of Nottingham, PA and Larry Mabe (Lisa) of Bangor, PA; and his granddaughter Regina Hatcher (Roy) of Middletown, DE. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and niece.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. (86 Pine St, Oxford, PA 19363). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
