He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Melissa A. Douglas; his sons, Shaun M. Douglas Jr. and Jacob M. Douglas; his grandson Shaun M. Douglas III; his father-in-law Bernard E. McCollum Sr.; his brother-in-law Bernard E. McCollum Jr.; his mother Sharon Douglas; his stepfather Bill Baum; his mother-in-law Dianne McCollum; and his father Andrew Douglas Sr.. He was also cherished by his seven siblings, and his several nieces and nephews.
