With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary R. MacGrath (Norwood, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 18, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McGarvey and AnnaBelle McGarvey (McKenty); her husband Samuel MacGrath; and her brothers, Eddie, Jerry, Jackie, William (Wow) and Danny.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Betzala (Joe), Trisha Sheerin (Michael) and Joanne Ward; her sisters, Anna Patriarch (Edward), Peggy Morin and Betty Collins (Tom); her nieces and nephews, Joseph Betzala (Christine), Timothy Betzala, Christen Garrity (Tim), Kenny Rucci (Erin), Alex Rucci (Brittany), Casey Sheerin (Lauren), Brian Sheerin and Anna Heck (Dan); and her great grandchildren, Justin, Ella, Kenny, Nathan, Dean, Luke, William, Nicolette, Callahan and Owen. She is also survived by daughters, Mary's grandchildren & great- grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's name to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
