With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine J. Cassidy (Norwood, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Katherine J. Cassidy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stumm and Katherine Turner Stumm; her former husband Francis J. Cassidy; her daughter Frances O'Rourke; her son-in-law William O'Rourke; and her brothers, Charles, Edward, William and Albert.
She is survived by: her husband Frank; her daughters, Kathleen Cassidy (James Dunn) and Teresa Griffith (William); her grandchildren, William, Courtney Griffith, Kevin, Emily, Molly, Megan and Bridget O'Rourke; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Gabriel, Caroline, Damian and Sebastian.
She tested positive for the coronavirus in April, and although she was virus-free in June, she never recovered from the toll it took on her.
