He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Zappone and Domenico Zappone; his son Michael Zappone; his granddaughter Jaqueline Garraty; and his siblings, Frank, John, Sonny, George, Ann, Lee, Jean, Dorothy and Polly.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Zappone (Lewis); and his children, Roseanne (Bill), Diane (Rich), Helen, Tony, Rochelle (John), Jackie (Mike) and Donna (Stephen).
