In loving memory of Gerald J. Zappone (Norwood, Pennsylvania), who departed this world on January 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Gerald leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Zappone and Domenico Zappone; his son Michael Zappone; his granddaughter Jaqueline Garraty; and his siblings, Frank, John, Sonny, George, Ann, Lee, Jean, Dorothy and Polly.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Zappone (Lewis); and his children, Roseanne (Bill), Diane (Rich), Helen, Tony, Rochelle (John), Jackie (Mike) and Donna (Stephen).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Penn St. and Morton Ave. Ridley Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to The Wounded Warrior Project.
