She was predeceased by: her father Stephen Sofranko; and her grandson Alexander Kip Schimizzi. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Theresa Sofranko; her significant other Joseph Wolk; her daughters, Terri Czarniak (Chet) of Clifton, VA, Sandra Schimizzi (David) of Greensburg and Anita Foriska (Terry) of Latrobe; her grandchildren, Lindsay Czarniak Melvin (Craig) of Westport, CT and Andrew Czarniak (Aimee Hollander) of Alexandria, VA; her great grandchildren, Delano, Sybil Melvin of Westport, CT, Louisa and Edward Czarniak of Alexandria, VA; her siblings, John Sofranko, Margaret Pavick, Helen Kapura, Betty Tirdil and Dorothy Vidakovich; and her caregiver Vee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Florian Church.
