He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Rinier and Julia Rinier; his wife Dolores; and his brother Pete Rinier Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Roxanne Rinier of Mt. Pleasant, Romayne Rinier of Greensburg, Robin Gattens (Phillip) of Delmont, Roberta Hogan (Michael) of Greensburg, Rhonda Smith (Douglas) of Greensburg and Renald M. Rinier of Norvelt; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew Hogan, Nicholas and Jacob Smith; and his siblings, George Rinier (Anne) and Marcia Little (Bob). He is also survived by several cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Florian Catholic Church, The Mt. Pleasant Township Lions Club or The Norvelt Volunteer Fire Department new building fund.
