It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois A Shaffer (Norvelt, Pennsylvania), born in Mammoth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 16, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent William Peffer; her husband Lury William Shaffer "Steve"; her daughter Deborah Sivak; her granddaughter Marisa Sivak; and her siblings, Lorraine Marshall, Helen Bell, Bob Peffer and Don Peffer.
She is survived by: her parent Hazel Miller Peffer; her children, Lury Shaffer (Sandy) of Donegal, Pamela Dean (Randy) of Coral Springs, Tim Shaffer and Mark Shaffer; and her grandchildren, Steve Sivak, Noelle Dean Costar, Amanda Shaffer Kundrod, Honesty Dean Mantkowski and Michelle Dean.
