He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Novotny and John Novotny; his brother Jack Novotny; and his grandson Ian Wright. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Novotny (Rocker); his children, Cindy Imbrogno (Gary) of Pittsburgh, James Novotny Jr. of Norvelt, Kevin Novotny (Lisa) of Williamsport, Renee Exler (Mike) of Hatfield and Mary Ellen Wright (Jim) of Wheeling, WV; his grandchildren, Jake, Julia, Chelsea, Ryan (Lexi), Zach, Grant, Jared, Grace and Luke; and his great grandchildren, Paisley and Sutton.
