We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2024 we had to say goodbye to James J. Novotny Sr. of Norvelt, Pennsylvania, born in Whitney, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Novotny and John Novotny; his brother Jack Novotny; and his grandson Ian Wright. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Novotny (Rocker); his children, Cindy Imbrogno (Gary) of Pittsburgh, James Novotny Jr. of Norvelt, Kevin Novotny (Lisa) of Williamsport, Renee Exler (Mike) of Hatfield and Mary Ellen Wright (Jim) of Wheeling, WV; his grandchildren, Jake, Julia, Chelsea, Ryan (Lexi), Zach, Grant, Jared, Grace and Luke; and his great grandchildren, Paisley and Sutton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the Hoffer Wilt Funeral Home (2245 Mt Pleasant Rd, Mt Pleasant, PA 15674). A vigil service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Florian Church (4263 PA-981, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the St. Vincent Cemetery (300 Fraser Purchase Rd, Latrobe, PA 15650).
