He was predeceased by: his parents, David F. Speer and Arietta Bair Speer; and his sister Sandra Speer. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Lee M. Speer (Georgia) of Norvelt, Karin E. Collier (Shawn) of North Carolina and Kelly K. Hand (Andrew) of Ohio; his sisters, Peggy Roach of Illinois and Robin Galley (Warren) of Greensburg; and his grandchildren, Shannon, Treacy Collier, Marshall and Hudson Hand. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
