It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Roy Carns of Norvelt, Pennsylvania, born in Derry, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Carns and Florence Carns; his brother Fred Carns; his daughter Amy Fox; his granddaughter Dana Bortz; and his friend Linda Mott.
He is survived by: his sister Mazzie Kernicky; his children, Carol Viazanko and Greg Carns (Terry); his grandchildren, Andrea Viazanko, Candice Lighthall, Christopher Avvampato, Tony Fox, Michael and Daniel Carns; his great grandchildren, Ty, Jeremy, Lacey, Mason Lighthall and Grant Avvampato; and his friends, Wes, Lonna Dunn, Harry and Susan Weitzel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 108 Dutch Hill Road, Latrobe, PA 15650.
