He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Shafer and Annie Brown Shafer; his wife Gloria Frund Shafer; his siblings, Alice Hays, Glenn Shafer, Mae Kalp, Domer Shafer, Garnet Carney and Lorene Shafer; and his children, Vicki Shafer and Reed (Denise) of Mt. Pleasant.
