It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Derr of Northumberland, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sampsell and Martha Sampsell (Eby); her husband Daniel Derr Jr.; her son-in-law Clark "Butch" Marks Jr.; her brothers, Bob Sampsell and Gilbert; her sister-in-law Dorothy Sampsell; and her nephew Bobby Sampsell.
She is survived by: her daughter Terry L. Marks of Lewisburg; her grandson Dan Marks; her great grandchildren, Daniel and Leigh Marks; and her nieces, Jo Hoffman (Jack) of Northumberland and Patricia Rice (Dewey) of Sunbury.
