He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary L. Longacre Lenig and Robert Lenig; his wife Betty M. Gottshall of Sunbury; his son Gary L. Lenig; his grandson Russell A. Lenig; and his siblings, Goldie Buch, Eleanor Strouse and Robert Lenig.
He is survived by: his sons, Roy S. (Wanda Lenig), Terry A. Lenig (Diana Saunder) and Christopher (Terri Madden); his grandchildren, Michael S., Jamie Lenig of Lockport, NY, Tammy, Heath "Mac" MacWhinnie, Columbia Crossroads, Debra C., Mark N. Webb, Aimee, Lillo Naimo, Brad E., Lisa Lenig, Jennifer, Josh Grubb, Christopher Madden, Matthew, Joanna Shively, Jack Shively, Melisa, William "Billy" Richards II of Titusville, Fla., Travis, Logan and Madden; his great grandchildren, Tristen, Jacob, Connor, Chase Lenig, Lilly MacWhinnie, Sarah, Alyssa, Colin MacWhinnie, Emily E. Webb, Hunter Raker, Lorenzo Naimo, Kira Matos and Bryce Lenig; and his great great grandchildren, Addilyn and William "Willie".
