He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Kitchen and Lois Kitchen (Styer). He is survived by: his close friend Ruth A. Forbes; his children, Richard L. (Barb Kitchen), Paul J. Kitchen (John D. Kitchen) of Northumberland, Joann D. Kitchen of Delaware and Tricia A.; his son-in-law Timothy Hollenbach of Middleburg; his grandchildren, Joseph Kitchen, Elisha Zimmerman and Kelsey Hollenbach; and his sisters, Wilma Steinruck of Bloomsburg, Vonda Mensch and Roxann Tucker of Red Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
