He was predeceased by: his parents, George P. Riggs and Kathryn M. Riggs (Sulouff); his former wife Sherry Bassett Riggs; and his wife Joyce Minnick Riggs. He is survived by: his siblings, George, Bonnie, Pam and Phil; his children, Stephanie, Cynthia, Jennifer, Stephen and Jonathan; and his stepchildren, Nikki and Todd.
