He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Beckley and Lillian Beckley (Barefoot); his wife Janice Mertz; his sisters, Doris Beckley Dantin and Cornelia Beckley Snyder; and his brother-in-law Jack Dantin.
He is survived by: his sons, James H. Beckley Jr. of Beltsville, Jeffrey M. (Lynn A. Beckley), Ill, Jon C. (Tiona A. Beckley), Jay D. Beckley (Nicole L. Stout) and W. Va; and his brother-in-law Bob Snyder of Burlington, Wis.. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
