He is survived by: his wife Janet M. Wholaver (Shupienus); his children, James Wholaver (Liz), Rose Marie Smarsh (Hastings), Randolph Wholaver (Cleveland), Laura McCombie (Hastings), Wayne Wholaver (Hastings) and William Wholaver Jr. (Patton); and his siblings, Morton Jay Wholaver and Tionesta. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
