With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph W. Chunko of Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania, born in Spangler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Chunko and Violet Chunko (Lamar); his wife Marie K. Chunko (Salyan); his son Stephen E. Chunko; and his siblings, Shirley Stonebraker and John "Jack" Chunko.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Chunko (Annette) of Northern Cambria, Daniel Chunko (Kimberly) of Northern Cambria and Michael Chunko (Lori); his grandchildren, Dan, Ben, Matt, Kristy, Joe, Andy, Sarah and Luke; and his sister Margaret. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
