He was predeceased by: his former wife Brenda Pershing (Boring). He is survived by: his parents, Leroy Pershing and Iris Pershing (Rice) of Northern Cambira; his children, James Pershing (Amanda), Jackie Pershing (Yunk Pierce) and Scott Pershing; his stepson Richard Goss (Ashley Good) of Northern Cambria; his fiancé Angel Mallin; and his siblings, Maralee Kerfonta of Northern Cambria, Leroy "Buddy" Pershing of Northern Cambria, John Pershing of Northern Cambria and Candi Kolesar. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
