She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kolonay and Elizabeth Kolonay (Sipos); her husband John; her sons, Dr. Gary Thomas and Glenn; and her siblings, John, Eugene, James Kolonay, Marie Miller, Margaret Chervenak, Catherine Sibert, Theresa Gaydos and Suzanne Dumm.
She is survived by: her daughter Nadine Clarke (John Clarke Sr.); her daughter-in-law Corry Thomas (Whorl); her grandchildren, John Clarke Jr. (Kelly), Abigail (James Malloy) and Jordan Thomas; her great grandchildren, James and Jackson Clarke; and her siblings, George, Leo Kolonay and Elizabeth Tamburri. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dorothy to Hastings Public Library.
