He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Chila and Alverta Chila (Horn); his granddaughter Alivia Chila; his siblings, Joseph Chila and Eleanor Stiffler; and his siblings-in-law, Leslie Stiffler, James Tishok, Paul Hampton, Thomas Bearer, David Sidwar, David Smithbower, Flora Chila (Kasick) and Mary Lou Mack.

He is survived by: his wife Rosella Chila (Crimaldi); his sons, Anthony Chila of Northern Cambria, Chris Chila of Northern Cambria and Joseph Chila (Deanna) of Northern Cambria; his grandson Dante; his siblings, Jennie Goaziou of Taylor, AZ, Darla Tishok of Highpoint, NC, Linda Sidwar of Clermont, FL, Deborah Chila and Loretto; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Mack (Janet) of Stuart, FL, Lena Hampton and Patty Bearer.
