It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertena Joiner of Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania, born in Cherry Tree, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Ray and Effie Alice Fleming (Crosmun); her siblings, Arthur Fleming, Arthenia Royer, Esther Fox and Ruth Buchholtz; and her husband Carl R. Joiner.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Rearick (Keith), Barbara Catchpole (Fred), Sandra (Walter), Carla Kester (Robert) of Flushing, OH, Gary Joiner (Melissa), Alverda, Craig Joiner (Shandra) of Brantford, ON and Eric Joiner (Holli); and her siblings, June Berringer and Jim Fleming. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
